A gallery website you can actually
go treasure hunting in.
Sea Dreams By Sara is a coastal art gallery on A1A in Ormond Beach, full of local artists, glass, jewelry and gifts. I wanted the site to feel like walking in the door: color everywhere and something to discover around every corner.

- 2main pages: home + artists
- 2026Community's Choice winner
Gift shops are about the wander.
Nobody goes into a coastal gallery on a mission. You browse, pick something up, put it down, find the thing you didn't know you needed. A stiff product grid kills that feeling.
So the palette is sea glass and coral on deep ocean blue, and the page has room to breathe like the shop does.
“If the shop is a treasure chest, the website better have a few treasures hidden in it too.”
What it is, in one line: a gallery site with artist features, events, a giving program and an interactive beach treasure hunt.

Tap the glowing markers, find the art.
There's a beach scene with glowing targets. Tap them, uncover artist-inspired finds, and once you hit 5 of the 8 a bonus reward unlocks.
It's silly in the best way, and it turns browsing into playing.
- 8 hidden finds
- Bonus unlock at 5
- Arrow guide for first-timers
- Works by tap on phones
Gallery-style spacing
Products are laid out with breathing room, so each piece feels intentional and gift-worthy instead of crammed on a shelf.

A shop that shows up for its town.
The site celebrates the shop's 2026 Community's Choice win for Gift Shop, and it carries the community giving program: mention a partner charity at checkout and a share of your purchase goes to them.
Event recaps, shop nights and partner fundraisers each get their own full-width space.
- Community's Choice feature
- Monthly giving program
- Events and shop nights
- Ribbon cutting recaps
- Google review prompt

Give the makers their own stage.
A dedicated artists page lets the people behind the work get proper credit, which is the whole point of a local gallery.
- Artists page
- Gallery lightbox with arrow keys
- Nearby landmarks section
- Hours and directions
Beach walkers find shops on their phones.
Someone strolling A1A searches 'gift shop near me.' The mobile site gives them hours, directions and the call button fast, and the treasure hunt works by tap.

Before you ask me.
How do I make a retail site feel like my shop?
Use the shop's real colors, photos and spacing, and add a little play. Sea Dreams has a treasure hunt.
Should a small gallery list its artists?
Yes. A dedicated artists page credits the makers and gives people more reasons to visit.
Can my site promote charity events?
Yes. Sea Dreams features its giving program and partner fundraisers right on the site.
Do interactive features work on phones?
They should. The treasure hunt is built for taps first.
Your shop has personality. Your site should too.
If your store is the fun one in town, let's make sure the website feels like it.
