Case study · CustomHomesVolusiaCounty.com

Three generations of building trust,
one clean website.

Coastal Home Creations & Roofing is a third-generation, locally owned builder in Volusia County. They build custom homes, remodel and roof. The website needed to feel as solid as the houses.

  • 6pages

The angle

Family builders don't need flash. They need proof.

People hiring a custom builder are about to spend the biggest money of their lives. They want to know who's behind it, that the licenses are real and that this family has been here a while.

So I kept the look calm and coastal, deep teal and sandy cream, and put the trust pieces where nervous eyes land first.

“When someone's about to build a house, the website should lower their heart rate, not raise it.”

What it is, in one line: a multi-page builder site with a dedicated page for custom homes, remodeling and roofing.

Coastal Home Creations & Roofing: Structure
Structure

Every service gets its own room.

Custom homes, remodeling and roofing each have a real page with their own process and their own call to action. A roof leak and a dream house are very different conversations.

About and contact round it out, so it's six pages, all reachable from the nav.

  • Custom homes page with build process
  • Remodeling page
  • Roofing page with storm damage help
  • About page with the family story
  • Contact page with form

Licenses right on the page

Both the general contractor and roofing contractor license numbers are shown, because trust shouldn't take digging.

Coastal Home Creations & Roofing: Roof grants
Roof grants

Help with the paperwork nobody likes.

Florida homeowners can qualify for wind mitigation grants through My Safe Florida Home. The roofing page explains it in plain words and says the team will help with the application.

That's a genuinely useful thing to tell someone, and it gets them on the phone.

  • My Safe Florida Home section
  • Free roof inspection offer
  • Engineered plans and permitting support
  • Emergency storm repair note
On your phone

Storm damage doesn't wait for a desktop.

After a storm, people search on their phones. The mobile site keeps the phone number and 'need immediate assistance' prompt close, and every service page reads cleanly in one thumb.

Good questions

Before you ask me.

Should each service have its own page?

Yes. Separate pages help people find exactly what they need and give search engines clear signals for each service.

Should I show my license numbers?

Yes. It's a quick trust signal and saves people from looking it up.

Can a builder site explain grant programs?

Absolutely. A plain explanation of programs like My Safe Florida Home is useful and brings in calls.

How long does a site like this take?

It depends on content, but a focused six-page builder site moves fast once photos and details are ready.

Building something solid? Your site should be too.

Family businesses have stories worth telling. Let's tell yours.

I do web, you do you.
