Two studios, one ocean, zero
marketplace fees.
Salty Dog Lodge is two pet-friendly oceanfront king studios in Flagler Beach, hosted by Lucinda. Guests love the place. The goal was a site that feels as easy as the big booking apps, but sends the request straight to her.
- 2oceanfront studios
- 40listing photos
- 2pets welcome per stay
Guests already know how to book a rental.
Everybody has used the big rental apps. So instead of inventing a new booking flow, I borrowed the shape people already trust: dates, guests, pets, search, pick your studio.
The difference is who's on the other end. Requests go straight to Lucinda, and the site adds no marketplace service fee.
“Don't make guests learn something new. Make the familiar thing feel like home.”
What it is, in one line: an Airbnb-inspired direct-booking website for two pet-friendly oceanfront studios in Flagler Beach.

Front-row or side view? Pick your morning.
Each studio gets a full listing page with its own gallery, amenities and details: Unit 1 with the direct Atlantic view and farmhouse kitchenette, Unit 2 with the sunny side view and retro kitchenette.
A studios page puts them side by side so guests can choose in seconds.
- Dedicated unit pages
- 21 and 19 photo galleries
- Pet policy up front
- Private balconies called out
- Studio comparison page
The booking bar
Check in, check out, guests and pets, right on the homepage. It looks like the apps guests already know, and it sends the request directly to the host.

Sell the town, and the stay sells itself.
Nobody books Flagler for the bedspread. They book it for the pier, the sunrise and the little downtown a mile away. So the site has an aerial film of the coast and a local guide to things worth wandering into town for.
A Your Host page introduces Lucinda, because a real person beats a faceless listing.
- Flagler Beach guide
- Aerial coast film
- Your Host page
- Guest comments carousel
Plan the beach trip from the couch.
Most vacation planning happens on a phone at night. The galleries swipe, the booking bar stacks neatly, and Call Lucinda is always within reach.
Bright, coastal and easy, like the studios themselves.

Before you ask me.
Can a vacation rental take direct bookings without a marketplace?
Yes. A direct-booking site lets guests request dates straight from the host, without a marketplace service fee on top.
Do I need a page for each unit?
If you have more than one, yes. Separate pages give each unit its own gallery and details, and help guests choose.
Why add a local guide to a rental site?
Travelers search for the destination first. A good guide gets you found earlier and makes the trip feel real.
Can I still list on Airbnb too?
Sure. Many hosts keep their marketplace listings and use their own site for repeat and direct guests.
Tired of paying the middleman? Let's book direct.
If you host a rental and want guests to come to you first, I'd love to build you a site that feels as easy as the apps.
