Cowhide, turquoise and a little dust.
Saddle up, shoppers.
The Rusty Spur Boutique sells western chic out of Edgewater, FL: handcrafted cowhide purses, tooled leather wallets, rancher hats and turquoise statement pieces. My job was to make the website feel like walking into the shop, then get people to the register without a single wrong turn.
- 10shoppable collections
- 1Shopify checkout

Great boots deserve a better boardwalk.
Western boutiques live and die on texture. You want to feel the cowhide through the screen, see the stitching on the tooled leather, and picture the hat on your head before you even scroll.
The store already had the goods and a loyal Facebook following. What it needed was a front porch: a site with the warmth of the boutique that sent shoppers straight into the live Shopify store, collection by collection.
“A boutique site should smell like leather. Since I can't code a smell, I lean hard on warm color and big photos.”
What it is, in one line: a warm, western storefront that funnels shoppers into The Rusty Spur's live Shopify collections.

Ten collections, zero tumbleweeds.
I broke the shop into the way people actually browse a western boutique: purses, duffles, crossbody bags, wallets and clutches, accessories, jewelry, hats, shoes, kids and men's. Each one gets its own short line of copy and links right into the matching Shopify collection.
No dead ends, no endless category maze. You pick your trail and you're at the products in one tap.
- Purses, duffles and crossbody bags
- Turquoise and silver jewelry
- Rancher and trucker hats
- Men's and kids' collections
- Every tile links to the live Shopify store
One photo did the heavy lifting
The social share card uses the horse trailer shot of the boutique crew, so every link shared on Facebook shows up looking like The Rusty Spur, not a generic store.

Saddle brown, old gold, plenty of cream.
The palette comes straight off a tack room wall: saddle brown, a burnished gold, and soft cream to keep things airy. It reads western without going full costume party.
The hero leans on a real photo of the boutique crew in a horse trailer, which tells you more about the brand than any tagline I could write.
- Saddle brown and gold palette
- Real boutique photography
- Polished, western chic tone
- Light, easy-to-read layout

Can't decide? Let fate pick.
There's a little spin feature for shoppers who can't make up their mind, plus a nudge to follow the Facebook page for flash deals and coupon drops. Small things, but they make the site feel like the shop, not a catalog.
Questions go straight to the owners over WhatsApp or Facebook with one tap, because boutique customers like talking to a real person.
- Spin-to-pick feature
- Facebook flash deal callout
- One-tap WhatsApp chat
- Simple returns and privacy info
Shop it from the truck stop.
Most boutique shoppers find you from a Facebook post on their phone. So the collections stack into big thumb-friendly tiles, the photos stay crisp, and the WhatsApp button is always within reach.
From scroll to Shopify cart in a couple of taps, even with one bar of signal.

The stuff you don’t see (but would miss).

Direct contact
WhatsApp and Facebook buttons put shoppers in touch with the owners in one tap.
Before you ask me.
Can you build a site that works with my existing Shopify store?
Yes. For The Rusty Spur I built a custom storefront that links each collection into the live Shopify shop, so checkout and inventory stay where you already manage them.
Will my boutique site work well on phones?
Yes. It's built mobile-first, with big tap-friendly collection tiles and one-tap chat, since most boutique shoppers come from social media on their phone.
Can customers message me straight from the site?
Yes. This build has one-tap WhatsApp and Facebook buttons so shoppers can ask questions before they buy.
Do you handle SEO and social previews too?
Yes. Every build ships with page titles, descriptions, a sitemap and designed social share cards so links look good wherever they're shared.
Got a shop with real character?
If your store has a personality, your website should too. Tell me about it and let's build you a front porch people actually want to step onto.
